Foria Sexual Enhancement Oil

We're going to take a stab at reviewing Foria Sexual Enhancement Oil in this post.

Foria Sexual Enhancement Oil (Contains 75mg THC)

Foria is a topical spray oil made up of coconut and cannabis oil. It's specially formulated for women, and absolutely positively can NOT be used with LATEX. Polyurethane and other materials are just fine.

I first noticed Foria at Starbus Louisville because of it's shiny packaging. Anything shiny is going to catch my attention. Thankfully, the fine folks at my dispensary deal with my ADHD ass. As soon as I asked the budtender what it was, I knew what it was meant to be used for. Awhile back, I'd read about the development of Foria in California. The price tag at the time put me off to trying it. It seems as though the price has come down from the initial planning stages, however.

This lady is not one to shy away from anything sex-related. I bought Foria because I enjoy trying new things, and this seemed about as new as one could get in the world of sex and weed. Those of you who have had the pleasure of enjoying cannabis while engaging in sexy fun times know that it enhances the experience a bit. Foria is no exception to this rule.

Foria comes in a teeny tiny glass bottle with a spray applicator. Simply spray a couple squirts of Foria on you or your partner's clitoris, inner/outer labia, and even inside the vagina. The instructions state to wait 15 minutes for maximum effect, so take this time to massage Foria into the ladybits.

It has very little smell, and is not exceedingly greasy. Some lubes and oils seem to get everywhere, but the spray applicator makes this a non-issue. The feel of it is just like baby oil.

This reviewer tried Foria without being in the mood at first, just to spot check and make sure no allergic reaction would occur. I want this to be known first and foremost: FORIA IS NOT GOING TO MAKE YOU HORNY. It's not a magical cure for dead bedrooms. On its own, Foria doesn't do much other than increase circulation and natural lubrication.

Trying it while being in the mood is a totally different cup of tea, however. There is increased sensitivity in the clitoral area for sure. Natural lubrication goes through the roof. Enjoyment over all seems to be increased. This may or may not be related to the Foria itself, however.

Here's a snippet directly from Foria's website:
As an all-natural plant-based medicinal, it works with your body to facilitate unique wellness experiences. For some women, it may awaken arousal and heighten sensation making orgasms more intense, fuller or easier to access. For others, it can help promote natural lubrication, reduce pain and tension and create the relaxation necessary for sensual experience or restorative rest. Foria Pleasure works with you, wherever you might find yourself on the pleasure spectrum.
As you can see, even Foria doesn't tout their product as being meant for arousal. It "may awaken arousal" but that's not guaranteed. Simply having your partner massage the oil into your nether regions would be arousal enough for most folks, however. Think of using Foria as an addition to sexy times, rather than being the initiator for it. It's a valuable tool in your toy box, if you use it correctly.

It's worth mentioning that all women are different. Some are more sexual than others, and we're all DEFINITELY different physically. Sex is much more mental for ladies, and as such, ladies really need to be in the mood for it to work out well. As I mentioned before, Foria is not a magic bullet (haha, bad joke!) for getting you aroused. If you're having trouble in the bedroom, consider sitting down and communicating your troubles to your partner or seeing a medical doctor.

SpaceBunny says: Foria is a great addition to the sex-toybox, providing added lubrication and sensitivity when aroused already. Definitely worth checking out if you're feeling adventurous!

(A footnote: I've had more folks ask me about my experience with Foria than any other THC-infused product I've tried in the last couple of years. There's a lot of interest in sexual enhancement products, but folks seem to be too intimidated or embarrassed to try them out for themselves. The folks at Starbuds do not judge, and will not give you any crap for trying ANY product out. If you are ever in a retail setting where the employees make you feel bad at all for your purchases, take your business elsewhere!)

Edit 2/5/15: Do not do what this woman did... Lady drinks Foria
